Learned this recently. If your translation contains measurements, you can hit ctrl+alt+down (as you do to download tags) and it will insert in your translation the equivalent measure (e.g. from imperial to metrical). You might need to check your settings in Workbench's File > Setup menu. This can be used as well for numbers (decimal separator is changed automatically), dates and times.
